I wish I could give them five starts but I've been here twice now. What I have noticed is that as a general rule of thumb here, if your party larger than two there are probably about 2-3 areas where you are sat. If you're a part of two like us, the wait isn't very long at all. On a Saturday the rush hits a little after 7pm. If they sit you by the bathroom, well, there's sometimes an unappetizing stench that wafts over from the bathroom. If you can get over that. Well, the food is decent. We generally order the premium option since I like the additions of the fatty cuts of fish and the sashimi they bring out. Good is great. Service when your server is able to get to you is great. The only problem is that they're always understaffed. I'm starting to think this is intentional due to the small amount of space but also I don't think they have enough back of house staff to accommodate the onslaught of people coming in on a weekend. They did however comp us a small hot sake since our second order was never made. If you drink and sit long enough though your appetite will eventually catch up and tell you you're not really hungry anymore which it did. Despite all of this we come here because the food is solid. Everything else is a bit lack luster but hey, we knew what to expect. Presentation is decent. You get it. You eat it. 90% of people that eat sushi around Sacramento don't know the general sushi etiquette anyway but I don't judge since I didn't even learn that sushi had etiquette until my wife and I went to an Omakase reservation at another sushi restaurant around Fair Oaks. The percentage estimate is also purely a guess but I've been more observant after arming myself with some knowledge. The shopping center it's located in is small but you'll eventually find parking. It's Roseville so you won't get houseless people loitering in the parking lot pan handling. Would I go here again? Yep.

Definitely one of the better sushi AYCE places. The last one we went to had limits on three rounds. Which was quite stressful on timing of what to order etc. This place has only one restriction which is if you choose the premium you can only order the items in that one box (one serving per person). Other than that you're good to get whatever else you want as many times as you'd like. Service was attentive! And the food is not bad for an AYCE. The only item I didn't care for was the creamy scallops. Only because it was too creamy. Their appetizers were also very good! It's a good sized restaurant and was semi busy on the day we went for lunch.

As soon as we got here, we were seated immediately. Although they are open for dinner at 5PM, when we arrived at 5:10PM, they were far from empty. My girlfriend and I did the AYCE menu, and if you do the AYCE, please do the premium menu! It is $49 a person and definitely worth it! The food was extremely flavorful, the food came out extremely fast, the staff were super friendly, and I honestly had no complaints about this place. Definitely looking forward to returning to this place.
